  • 1-3/4 cup Individually Wrapped Caramels
  • 1 can Evaporated Milk
  • 2 tsp Coffee Flavored Liqueur

    For Dough:
  • 2 cups All-Purpose Flour
  • 1 cup Cream Cheese
  • 1 cup Butter
  • 1/2 cup Shortening

    To Make The Topping:
  • 1 cup Butter
  • 1/2 cup Evaporated Milk
  • 2/3 cup White Sugar
  • 1/2 cup Shortening
  • 2 tsp Coffee Flavored Liqueur
How to make Caramel Cup Tassies:
  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
  • Beat together all the ingredients of the dough.
  • Knead until well blended.
  • Now take a mini muffin tin and press the dough.
  • Then, bake it at 350 degrees F for eighteen minutes.
  • In a microwave, melt the caramels.
  • Add 1 can of the milk (evaporated) and 2 teaspoons of the coffee flavored liqueur.
  • Keep aside thickening.
  • Combine all the ingredients required to make topping in a bowl.
  • Beat for at least eight minutes.
  • Now pour caramel mixture into the baked cups.
  • Wait for ten minutes and then garnish with the topping mix. Serve.
