Ingredients:
  • ½ Bunch Methi Leaves (finely chopped)
  • 1 Cup Rice (cooked)
  • 1 Onion (finely chopped)
  • 1 tsp Mustard Seeds
  • 1 tsp Urad Dal
  • 1 tsp Chana Dal
  • 1 pinch Asafoetida
  • ½ Cup Methi Seeds
  • ½ Cup Coconut (Grated)
  • 6 Red Chilies
  • Oil
  • Salt (to taste)
How to make Methi Rice:
  • Take a pan and add methi seeds and roast it, add red chilies and coconut and grind it.
  • Heat up the oil in the same pan.
  • Add mustard seeds, chana dal and urad dal.
  • Now add onion, asafoetida and methi leaves.
  • Cook it for 5-10 min.
  • The mix the grinded powder, rice and mix it well. Off the stove.
  • Serve it.
