  • 4 tbsp Danish Butter
  • 4 tbsp Flour
  • 3 cups Beef Stock
  • 3 tbsp White Vinegar
  • Salt and Pepper (to taste)
  • 3 tbsp Sherry
How to make Brown Gravy:
  • Heat butter in a pot on low flame.
  • Add flour and stir until smooth.
  • Gradually, add half of the beef stock, stirring constantly.
  • Combine rest of the stock with vinegar in a bowl and add to the pot.
  • Boil slowly on low heat, stirring continuously.
  • Sprinkle salt and pepper.
  • Add sherry and remove from heat.
  • Cool slightly and serve with any meat preparation or boiled potatoes.
