Ingredients:
  • ½ kg Fish (cut into pieces)
  • 1 ½ tbsp Coriander Powder
  • ½ cm Ginger (sliced)
  • 4 Garlic Cloves
  • 5 Green Chilies (slit)
  • ½ cup Thick Coconut Milk
  • ½ cup Thin Coconut Milk
  • 1 tsp Garam Masala
  • 1 tbsp Vinegar
  • Salt (to taste)
  • ½ tsp Mustard Seeds
  • 2 stems of Curry Leaves
  • 1 tsp Onion (chopped)
  • 1 tbsp Oil
How to make Fish Pappas:
  • Heat oil in a pan and crackle mustard seeds.
  • Stir in curry leaves, onions, garlic, and ginger. Saute for 2 minutes.
  • Add green chilies and coriander powder. Mix and cook for another 3 minutes.
  • Pour thin coconut milk, salt, and vinegar. Stir and bring to a boil.
  • Add fish and cook for 15 minutes on low flame.
  • Mix thick coconut milk with garam masala and mix well.
  • Add to the gravy and remove from heat.
  • Serve hot with steamed rice.
