- 1 Cabbage (small head)
- 3 tbsp, Oil
- 2 cups Carrot (shredded)
- 2 tsp, Salt
- A Pinch of Cayenne
How to make Jamaican Cabbage And Carrots:
- Shred cabbage and carrot.
- Simmer in just enough water so as to have the cabbage completely immersed.
- Cook until cabbage is done but still crisp; cook for about 10 minutes.
- Add salt and cayenne.
- A few green chillies greatly add to the flavor.
Suggestions:Do not drain the excess water before serving.
