My comment is a question. In the directions 1 or 2 whistles is mentioned for the pressure cooker. What does that mean?

I lived in North India for a long time and I know how a good moog dal should look and taste like. This is the recipe I have been looking for. In my very first attempt I could get the taste and look. EXCELLENT. Keep up the good work and thanks.
