Ingredients:
  • For Tikka
  • 2 cups Paneer (Cheese)(2-inch cubes)
  • 1 Capsicum (Shimla Mirch)(square pieces)
  • 1 Onion (thickly sliced)
  • 1 Tomato (thickly sliced)
  • ½ cup thick Yogurt (Curd)
  • 2 tsp Red Chili Powder
  • ½ tsp Turmeric Powder
  • 2 tsp Ginger-Garlic Paste
  • 2-3 Bay Leaves (powdered)
  • ½ tsp Garam Masala
  • 1 tsp Tandoori Masala
  • 2 tbsp Lemon Juice
  • Salt to taste

    For Gravy
  • 2 tbsp Vegetable Oil
  • 1 large Onion (grated)
  • 2 cups Tomato Puree
  • 1 tsp Garlic Paste
  • 1 tsp Tandoor Masala
  • 1 tsp Red Chili Powder
  • 1 tsp Butter
  • 1 cup Milk
  • Salt to taste
  • 1 tbsp Coriander Leaves (chopped)
How to make Paneer Tikka Masala:
  • Combine together all the spices for tikka, lemon juice, salt and yogurt in a large bowl.
  • Blend the vegetables and paneer to the mixture and leave it for 2-3 hours.
  • Preheat the grill to 350 degrees F and arrange paneer and vegetables alternatively in 2 skewers. Grill turning frequently until golden brown from all the sides.
  • Remove from skewers on platter and prepare the gravy.
  • Heat the oil in a frying pan. Add grated onion along with garlic paste and simmer for a while.
  • Add tomato puree and chili powder, tandoor masala and salt. Stir well for 2 minutes.
  • Pour in milk and grilled vegetables and paneer. Bring to boil and remove from the heat.
  • Garnish with coriander leaves and butter.
  • Serve hot with nan or chapatti.
