  • 1 cup Sev or Ganthia
  • ½ tsp Cumin Seeds
  • ½ tsp Red Chili Powder
  • ¼ tsp Garam Masala
  • ½ tsp Sugar
  • 2-3 pinches Asafetida
  • ¼ tsp Amchoor or Dried Mango Powder
  • ¼ tsp Dhania or Coriander Powder
  • ½ tbsp Coriander Leaves (finely chopped)
  • 1 tbsp Oil
  • Salt (to taste)
  • 1 cup Water
How to make Sev Ganthia Saag:
  • In a cup of water, add red chili powder, garam masala, amchoor and dhania powder. Mix well.
  • Place a pan on fire and heat oil in it.
  • Add cumin seeds and asafetida.
  • When the seeds start to splutter, add the masala mixture.
  • Simmer for 3 to 4 minutes.
  • Add in the sugar and stir well to dissolve it.
  • Finally, add the sev and stir.
  • Remove from fire and garnish with chopped coriander.
  • Serve hot with phulkas, theplas, or rotis.
