  • 1 ½ Carrot (grated)
  • 1 Green Chili (finely chopped)
  • 1/2 cup (125ml) Curd
  • 1 tsp Ginger (finely chopped)
  • 1 tsp Onion (finely chopped)
  • 1 Red Chili (dry)
  • 1/4 tsp Mustard Seeds (Sarso)
  • 1 tbsp Oil
  • Salt to taste
How to make Carrot Pachadi:
  • Peel and grate the carrots.
  • Boil the carrots and green chillies along with salt in little water.
  • Once the carrots are cooked thoroughly, let it cool.
  • Once cooled, add the curd to it and mix thoroughly.
  • In a pan, heat the oil and add red chillies to fry.
  • Add mustard seeds and wait till the popping sound comes. At the same time put in choppen onion and ginger to fry.
  • Stir till the onions become tender and add the fried items in the carrots-curd mixture.
  • Mix carefully.
  • Delicious Carrot pachadi is ready.
Serve as a side dish with rice
