Crab Curry Recipe

A typical South-Indian dish, there is no where else in the world where you will taste crab prepared is such a way. The juice of the sea food amalgamated with the spice and tang of the ingredients will make you want to indulge in this gravy more often than not.

Ingredients:
- 1/2 kg Crab
- 1 tsp Cumin seeds
- 1 tsp Fenugreek seeds
- 25 Chilies
- 2 tbsp Coriander seeds
- 1 tsp Pepper
- 1/2 tsp Turmeric powder
- 1 Onion, chopped
- 2 tbsp Coconut oil
- 6 Flakes garlic
- 1 Coconut, grated
- 1 Onion, chopped
- 1/4 cup Tamarind Water
- Salt to taste
How to make Crab Curry:
- Heat a little oil and saute the chilies, coriander seeds, grated coconut, cumin seeds, pepper and fenugreek seeds.
- Grind these spices with turmeric powder, garlic and tamarind to make fine paste.
- Fry the onions in oil till light brown.
- Add the crabs and stir well. Fry for a while until there is a change in color.
- Add the ground masala and cook the mixture for a minute.
- Pour tamarind water and cook on low heat.
- Crab curry is ready. Serve with rice.
