Ingredients:
  • 12 small Thin Frankfurter Sausages
  • 150 ml lukewarm Milk
  • 20 gm Yeast
  • 1 Egg
  • 1 Egg (beaten)
  • 75 gm Butter
  • 320 gm Flour
  • Course Sea Salt (crushed)
How to make Sausage Rolls:
  • Heat butter in a pan until it melts.
  • Thaw yeast in lukewarm milk in a bowl.
  • Pour into eggs with melted butter, milk, flour and mix it well into soft dough.
  • Keep the bowl covered until it rises.
  • Roll out the dough into large thin sheet and cut into rectangles.
  • Take water in a pan and get it to boil.
  • Put in sausages and cook it for 2-3 min.Then drain and dry them.
  • Place the sausages on each rectangle and roll them up. Lay the rolls on a roasting rack and set it over a pan.
  • Coat the rolls with beaten egg and sprinkle over little salt.
  • Bake it at 225 °C for 15 min or until it is brown.
  • Serve it hot.
