Ingredients:
  • 2 Mangoes (diced)
  • 4 tbsp Chilly Powder
  • Salt to taste
  • ¼ tsp Asafoetida
  • 1 tsp Turmeric Powder
  • ½ tsp Mustard Seeds
  • Oil
How to make Mango Achar:
  • Take oil in a pan and splutter the mustard seeds.
  • Mix in chilly powder, asafetida, turmeric, salt to taste and cook for about 3 min on low flame.
  • Take the pan off heat and keep it aside to cool.
  • Mix together mangoes and the chilly mixture well. Let it be for 7-8 days to get the spices absorbed in.
  • Stir in little vinegar to keep it fresh.
