Ingredients:
  • 250 gm Channa
  • 100 gm Shallot
  • 8 Red Chilly
  • 1 ½ tsp Coriander Leaves
  • 1 tsp Garam Masala
  • Salt to taste
  • Coconut Oil
  • 1 tsp Mustard Seeds
  • 1 sprig of Curry Leaves
  • Few Coconut pieces
How to make Kadala Curry:
  • Keep the channa in water for around 8 hrs and then pressure cook it with shallots.
  • Take coriander leaves, garam masala, red chilly and grind it. Add it to the cooked channa with salt to taste and simmer it. Then take it off the heat.
  • Take oil in a pan and crackle the mustard seeds. Mix in coconut, curry leaves and red chilly. Add it to the curry.
Suggestions:
Serve it hot.
