Bookmark
Materials Required
- A Poem
- Construction Paper
- Paint
- Clear Contact Paper
- Markers/ Crayons
- Piece Of Yarn/ Ribbon
Directions
- With the help of a scissor, cut a strip of construction paper for the bookmark.
- Spread some paint in a plate and dip your finger in it.
- Make fingerprints on the construction paper, giving shape of flowers, sun, hills, etc.
- Write a small poem on Father's Day in a piece of paper. The size of the poem should be according to the size of the bookmark.
- With a scissor, cut the poem and with the help of glue attach it at the back of bookmark.
- Cover the entire piece with clear contact paper.
- Make a hole in the top center of the bookmark and tie a ribbon or yarn through the hole.
- Your bookmark is ready!
Tissue Paper Flower
Materials Required
- Paint Brush
- Scissors
- Single Colored Tissue Paper
- Thread
- Water Paint
Directions
- Place 2 or 3 tissue papers on top of each other.
- Fold them in half and tie a thread tightly in between.
- Split and fluff the layers to give the tissue paper a flower shape.
- For smaller flowers, cut the folded tissue paper in between and place one-half on top of the other half.
- Next, prepare a solution with water and colors.
- Dip a brush in the color and dab the end of the flower with it, for beautifying the flowers further.
