While you are all set to celebrate the day with joviality and enthusiasm, serving him with a drink made by you would be a real surprise. There are very few occasions when you can enjoy hard drinks with your father. Father's Day is one such occasion when your dad wouldn't mind sharing a glass of wine or champagne with you. So, go ahead and prepare some exciting cocktails to celebrate the occasion.

Tequila Sunrise

  • 1½ ounces Tequila
  • 3 ounces Orange Juice
  • 1 tsp Grenadine
  • Cherry (to garnish)
  • Orange Slice (to garnish)
  • Ice Cubes
  • Pour tequila in a highball glass, along with ice cubes.
  • Add orange juice to it. Stir the mix well.
  • Tilt the glass and pour grenadine by flipping the bottle vertically very quickly. The grenadine should go straight to the bottom and rise up slowly through the drink.
  • Garnish with cherry and orange slice.
  • Serve chilled.
Vodka Martini

  • 1½ oz Vodka
  • ¾ oz dry Vermouth
  • 2 Olives
  • Ice Cubes
  • Blend vodka and vermouth together, along with ice cubes, in a shaker.
  • Stain the mixture into a cocktail glass.
  • Garnish with olives and serve immediately.
Hurricane Carolyn

  • 1 oz Coconut Rum
  • 1 oz light Rum
  • ½ oz 151 Proof Rum
  • 1 oz spiced Rum
  • 1 oz Cranberry Juice
  • 1 oz Orange Juice
  • Leaving aside proof rum, combine all the ingredients in a shaker, along with lots of ice.
  • Pour the drink in a Collins glass and float 151 proof rum on top.
  • Serve chilled.
Frisco Sour

  • 2 oz blended Whiskey
  • ½ oz Lemon Juice
  • ½ oz Lime Juice
  • ½ oz Benedictine
  • Lemon Slice (to garnish)
  • Combine all the ingredients in a cocktail shaker.
  • Add plenty of ice cubes and shake well until blended.
  • Strain into a sour glass.
  • Top with lemon slice and serve immediately.
Long Island Iced Tea

  • ½ oz Triple Sec
  • ½ oz Light Rum
  • ½ oz Gin
  • ½ oz Vodka
  • ½ oz Tequila
  • 1 oz Sour Mix
  • Cola (as required)
  • Lemon Wedge (to garnish)
  • Pour triple sec, light rum, vodka, and sour mix in a Collins glass.
  • Top with ice and stir or shake well.
  • Pour cola to fill up the rest of the glass.
  • Garnish with the lemon wedge and serve.
