Feng Shui Office Desk

When you Feng Shui your office an important aspect to remember is your desk. Feng Shui lays down certain rules as to how the desk should be positioned and where things should be placed on the desk as well. Here are a few Feng Shui tips on how to place your desk in your office:
  • Never place your desk in such a way that your back is to a window. According to Feng Shui windows lack support.
  • Do not sit in such a way that your back is to the door, as this makes you vulnerable to attack according to Feng Shui.
  • Do not place your desk so that it faces the door as the Chi coming in through the door may overwhelm you.
  • It is best if you position your desk in such a way that your back is to the wall. Hang a picture of an Earth element like a mountain on the wall. This will support you further.
  • The desk should be angled away from the door, facing a picture of a water element like a fish, a lake or any art work with wavy lines that look like waves.
  • Positive energy can be attracted to the desk by placing five elements that attract work luck. These elements should be placed according to the Lo Shu grid. This is how things should be placed:
» North: Your cup of coffee or tea
» Northeast: Crystal paperweight
» Northwest: Computer terminal
» East: Fresh flowers
» Southeast: Small green plant
» South: Desk lamp or something red
» West: Golden Ingot

Remember these simple Feng Shui tips on desk placement to improve your good fortune and attract positive Chi.
