Universidad Juárez del Estado de Durango or
UJED, founded in 1856, is a reputed institution offering technical and
medical training. Established with the objective of scientific teaching
and research, UJED is a public institution which as adopted the slogan
'spoken by my race BY SPIRIT'. The organization is accredited by
Secretaría de Educación Pública.
