Admission in UAB Barcelona

Universiad de Barcelona welcomes foreign students to pursue their studies in its campuses. However, UAB Barcelona has laid out an admission process that should be followed. Have information about the fee structure too.

Admission Process for Graduation Degrees
For attending the Universidad de Barcelona, students from abroad must follow different procedures depending on their individual situation. Students who have foreign qualifications have to get these validated by the Spanish Ministry of Education and Science.

In case the validation acquired is equivalent to an Advanced Level Training Course, you would have direct access to short-cycle courses and some specific long-cycle courses. If the validation obtained is equivalent to the Spanish High School and the student wishes to apply for a university admission, he / she must take the University Entrance Tests at any public university in Spain. University Entrance Tests can also be arranged at Spanish embassies or consulates.

If a student has failed to qualify in the University Entrance Tests, he or she may also take the tests for students aged over 25 in order to gain access to a university course.

Admission Process for Master's
If the student desires to enroll in an interuniversity master's degree which is not coordinated by the UAB, he / she would be required to complete the enrolment procedure at the coordinating university. In case the student plans to enter a Master's degree as an Erasmus student, he / she must obtain information by his / her home university. once the pre-registration applications of the students have been accepted, they would be a mail of confirmation telling them about further procedure. They would also have a tutorial with the course coordinator. The students are required to enroll in person at the Academic Administration office of the concerned faculty. You would have to appear with the originals and photocopies of all the documents, including the receipt of fee payment.
