Universidad de Santiago de Compostela or the USC,
founded in 1495, is one of the academic institutions of higher tradition
in Spain. With more than five hundred years of teaching experience, the

Campuses
Universidad de Santiago de Compostela conducts its operations in two
campuses, Santiago de Compostela and Logo. Both campuses have proper
infrastructure of teaching and research. Santiago is an older campus and
hosts the most number of courses. Lugo campus houses the faculties of
Business Administration, Sciences and Humanities. The university also
has few attached centres. Research centres attached with the university
contribute a lot in the research work.
Languages of Instruction
Classes in the university may be taught in Spanish or Galician, the two
official languages of the Autonomous Community in Santiago.
