Universidad de Castilla-La Mancha has got a limited number of rooms for students participating in exchange programmes with UCLM in university residence halls owned by the Government of Castilla-La Mancha (JCCM). To get accommodation in one of these residence halls, you should contact the UCLM service of International Relations. Your application is subject to the availability of rooms. For confirming the booking of the room, the rule demands that you make a deposit in July, which will be refunded at the end of your stay, after the room has been inspected for any possible damage during your stay. Alternatively, you could also get accommodation in private apartments or become paying guests.

When the student exchange periods are for short periods, it is often difficult to find private living accommodation. In this case, the university makes efforts to arrange direct housing exchanges between Erasmus student participants.

Ciudad Real and Cuenca campuses have university dining halls. General public can also dine in these halls. For getting special prices reserved for the students, you have to tell them about your student status when you are billed. other campuses and academic centres of the university have cafeterias which offer meals too.

In UCLM, one can complement academic agenda with physical activities in free time. Sports competitions include the Chancellor's Cup, different intercampus competitions, events organized by the High Council of Sports and intra-university competitions. For a small annual fee, you are provided a University Sports Card, which would enable you to freely use University's sports facilities. You can have a free sign-up for individual sports competitions that are part of the Chancellor's Cup. You could enjoy substantial reduction of prices for the various recreational activities offered. You could also get discounts on sports equipment and apparel in different stores and businesses.

Recreational Activities
In UCLM campuses, one can enjoy several recreational activities other than sports like aerobics, ballroom dance and yoga. The university has proper arrangements to facilitate these activities.

Computer Labs & Library
Computer labs are available to all university students. In these labs the students would be able to access the Internet and do all other tasks. As for library facility, your Library Card would enable you to access any of the university libraries.

Spanish Course
All interested international students are offered an intensive course in the Spanish language. Courses are offered during each academic semester at the beginning of each. The courses cost 15 € each and this includes learning material.
