Universidad Complutense de Madrid or the UCM, founded
in 1293, is the largest university in Spain. A premiere university in
Spain with rich past, it is located on the sprawling Ciudad
Universitaria district of Madrid. The campus buildings include
institutes, private centers, hospitals, offices, sports facilities and
computer centers. Currently, the university has approximate 5,000
foreign students. Universitat Complutense de Madrid, offering large
urban university environment, is one of the country's most distinguished
universities.

Campuses
Universidad Complutense de Madrid has two campuses: Moncloa and
Somosaguas. Broad attractive open spaces separate the classrooms and
residential halls. Several faculties are located independently. The
classrooms are well-equipped with all modern facilities. All necessary
facilities can be found in the campuses of Universidad Complutense de
Madrid.
Language of Instructions
Language of Instructions in Universidad Complutense de Madrid is
Spanish. This requires that the students should be fluent in Spanish to
pursue studies in the institution. Pre-session Spanish language courses
are run in September and February, and supplementary courses are offered
during the academic year. Students with weak Spanish can avail these
courses.
Choice of Courses
Faculties operate independently and are not located together in the
same region of the city. It is better to choose courses from only one or
two faculties.
Special Academic Conditions
First-year courses in Universidad Complutense de Madrid are
oversubscribed. Admission in Fine Arts and Computer Sciences is limited.
